Hello! I’m Wendy — a proud mom to two amazing boys, the eldest of four siblings, and someone who wears many hats in this beautiful journey called life.
For years, I worked hard climbing the corporate ladder as a single mom, doing everything I could to provide for my family. While I found success, I realized my heart longed for something more meaningful. Photography had always been my passion — and when life offered me a second chance, I embraced it wholeheartedly.

My qualifications and how it all came together
In my search for a new beginning beyond the corporate world, I became certified as a doula and lactation specialist. While I gained valuable knowledge and experience, I soon realized that wasn’t where my heart truly belonged. Everything changed when my little nephew, Julian — or Juju, as I lovingly call him — was born. I found myself constantly taking photos of him, capturing every sweet moment, and through that simple joy, I discovered my true calling: newborn photography.
Thanks to my certifications, I’m trained in newborn safety and infant CPR, ensuring that every session is not only beautiful but handled with the utmost care. From that moment forward, I embraced my journey into maternity, newborn, and family photography — and my heart has been full ever since. Lotus Bloom Photography was born from this passion, and it didn’t stop there. I’ve since expanded to capturing even more milestones: from births and graduations to portraits and branding sessions. I love what I do, and I believe that passion shines through in every image I create.
